It’s something I’ve been reflecting on lately.
Even when something feels right — that quiet, steady knowing deep within — I’ve noticed I still sometimes go looking for confirmation. A sign, a second opinion, a little reassurance from somewhere outside of me.
And yet… when I really sit with it, the answer was already there.
It wasn’t confusion.
It wasn’t uncertainty.
It was simply a lack of trust in what I felt.

Your intuition doesn’t shout.
It doesn’t demand your attention or rush you into decisions. It speaks softly — through feelings, subtle nudges, and a quiet sense of knowing that often arrives before logic has a chance to speak.
And because it’s so gentle, it’s easy to overlook.
We’ve been taught, in many ways, to look outward first. To gather opinions, to seek validation, to make sure we’re “getting it right.”
But intuition doesn’t work like that.
It isn’t something you prove.
It’s something you feel.
☾ ✧ ☽
I’ve started to notice a pattern within myself.
That first feeling — the one that comes in quietly and clearly — is usually the truth of it. What follows is the questioning. The overthinking. The search for reassurance.
“What if I’m wrong?”
“What if there’s a better way?”
“Let me just check…”
And while there’s nothing wrong with being thoughtful, there’s a difference between making a considered decision and disconnecting from your own inner guidance.
☾ ✧ ☽
So I’ve been gently shifting the way I respond to those moments.
Now, when something feels right, I pause.
I sit with that first instinct — before the noise, before the questions — and I acknowledge it.
Instead of asking,
“Is this the right choice?”
I ask,
“Do I trust what I’m feeling?”
It’s a small change, but it feels like coming home to myself.
☾ ✧ ☽
If you’ve ever found yourself searching for confirmation, know this — you’re not alone.
But your intuition isn’t missing.
It isn’t unclear.
And it isn’t something outside of you.
It’s already there, quietly guiding you.
Sometimes, it’s simply waiting for you to trust it.
☾ ✧ ☽
If you’re learning to reconnect with your intuition, start gently.
Pause more often.
Listen without rushing.
Notice your first feeling before the world has a chance to shape it.
You might find that what you’ve been searching for…
has been within you all along.
